Yashasvi Jaiswal hits 200: List of youngest Indians to score a double century in Tests

Yashasvi Jaiswal scored a remarkable double century on Day Two of the second Test against England in Vishakhapatnam at the age of 22 years and 77 days.

Completing the feat in 277 balls, he played a pivotal role in guiding India to a total exceeding 350 in the first innings.

Jaiswal’s aggressive approach included hitting 18 fours and 7 sixes en route to his double hundred, to surpass his previous highest score of 171 on his debut against West Indies.

Notably, Jaiswal became the fourth left-handed batter to hit a Test double century, joining the ranks of Vinod Kambli, Sourav Ganguly, and Gautam Gambhir. He also secured the title of the third youngest Indian to achieve this milestone. Vinod Kambli remains the youngest, accomplishing the feat at 21 years and 35 days.
